Orillia takes its winter seriously — this is a town with a real downtown to light up, a waterfront that glows across Couchiching, and neighbourhoods that show up for the season. The century homes around the downtown core and north ward are the fun ones: steep gables, decorative trim, and rooflines that reward a proper custom-cut design (and punish a strand of store-bought lights stapled on). Out in West Ridge and the newer subdivisions, tall two-storey peaks are exactly the ladder work you shouldn’t be doing in November.
Lakefront homes on Couchiching Point and Bayshore get the double view — lights from the road, and the reflection from the water. If your place shows to the lake, tell us; we design for both sightlines.

What it costs and what’s included
$8 per linear foot, all-inclusive — design, commercial-grade LED lights custom-cut to your home (you never buy anything), installation, free in-season maintenance within 48 hours under our No-Lights-Out Guarantee, takedown after the season (as soon as the weather allows), and storage at our shop until next season. Most Orillia homes land between $800 and $3,500 depending on how much of the home you light, with the average around $1,500.
